Ezekiel 36:26
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh."

Founded on faith, driven by love

Heart of God Women's Ministry was founded by Kristine Murray with a singular calling: that no woman should have to face the journey from brokenness to restoration alone. Born out of deep conviction, this ministry meets women exactly where they are.

We believe healing happens in relationship, in safe spaces, and through the steady presence of those who refuse to give up. Our approach combines practical support — stable housing, mentorship, life skills — with spiritual encouragement rooted in God's Word.

Every woman who walks through our doors is seen, valued, and surrounded by a community committed to walking the road of recovery with her for as long as it takes.

Two pillars of transformation

Restoring Hope — walking alongside women from incarceration and addiction

Restoring Hope

We are dedicated to walking alongside women from difficult situations — including incarceration and drug and alcohol addiction — guiding them toward wellness, stability, and lasting freedom.

Rebuilding Lives — community and connection for women

Rebuilding Lives

Safe housing is critical for women on their journey of new life. Creating a family home environment opens doors and breaks down walls that have stood for years — replacing isolation with belonging.

How we support women

Safe Housing

Providing a stable, family-like home environment for women transitioning out of incarceration or active addiction — the foundation of real recovery.

🤝

Mentorship

Pairing women with mentors who walk alongside them with consistent presence, godly wisdom, and genuine care for their healing and growth.

📖

Spiritual Support

Rooting restoration in faith through Bible study, prayer, and the transforming power of a God who gives new hearts to those who seek Him.

💪

Life Skills

Equipping women with practical tools — budgeting, employment readiness, healthy relationships — to build a stable, independent future.

🌿

Addiction Recovery

Compassionate, faith-based support through the difficult work of recovery from drug and alcohol addiction — one day at a time, together.

👥

Community

Building a genuine sisterhood — women who support, encourage, and hold one another accountable on the shared journey toward wholeness.

No woman should walk this road alone

Community is at the heart of everything we do. When women find one another in a place of safety and mutual support, transformation becomes not just possible — it becomes inevitable.

Stories of transformation

"I came out of prison with nothing — no plan, no support, nowhere to go. Heart of God gave me a home, a community, and a reason to keep going. I am not the same person I was."

"For the first time in years I felt like someone actually believed in me. The mentorship and the Word of God together — that combination changed everything. I have a new heart."

"The home they created doesn't feel like a program — it feels like a family. That's the hardest thing to find after addiction. It changed the trajectory of my life completely."

"My daughter found Heart of God after her release and it was an answer to years of prayer. She is safe, surrounded by love, and becoming the woman God created her to be."
